My Convertible Laptop Bag from Tough Brat Bags

Remember when I was hankering to get a laptop bag that looks like a satchel? I’m glad I decided not to buy one in the States because I discovered a Multiply shop that offers them at a really great price. Tough Brat Bags specializes in stylish laptop bags for women, and they have all sorts of satchel-type designs that will make any bag lover salivate with desire. The moment I came back, I made a beeline for their website and bought my own bag.

At first I had my heart set on the Merjan or Rae briefcase-style bags, but their Felix convertible laptop bag caught my eye and I ended up buying it instead. It cost only P2,500 and the convertible feature made me feel as though I were buying three laptop bags in one.

Felix can be worn as a tote, a messenger bag, and a backpack, and it comes with two sets of clip-on straps for easy converting. I bring the straps with me wherever I go. I mean, you never know when you want to wear your laptop bag as a backpack or tote!

Clip a strap on the sides to make it a messenger bag.

Clip two straps on the back and turn it into a chic backpack (my favorite way to wear it!).

Or clip on the handles and wear it as a tote!

As for the insides, it’s well-padded and can fit my 14″ ASUS KS43V rather comfortably while leaving tons of room for the charger, books, and papers. I don’t actually need to bring a purse when I use this bag because there’s enough space for my wallet, kikay kit, and mobile phones. My only concern is that the base of the backpack straps might not be able to withstand the weight of my laptop, so I try not to overload it with too much stuff.

I really wish I knew about Tough Brat Bags when I was still in school because they are such adorable and practical bags! If you’re searching for a cute laptop bag, I highly recommend that you make Tough Brat Bags your first stop. Besides satchel-style laptop bags, they also carry a variety of adorable designs. Oh, and did I mention that they use Multiply’s super convenient ecommerce system? This means that they use a shopping cart system, accept Paypal, and are covered by Multiply’s buyer protection. Tough Brat’s customer service is really awesome too! Check out their Multiply shop at toughbratbags.multiply.com.

I bought several bags from them already and I should say na matibay ang bags nila. 2 of mine are faux leather and 2 years old na, pero buhay pa rin.

The nubuck leather bag I bought from them, buhay na buhay pa rin.

wow! That’s pretty neat! I like laptop bags that don’t look like laptop bags esp when I have to take public transportations (in the Philippines). 2500 is pretty good for that style. Thanks for the link!
