I’ve been lemming for new eyeshadow palettes lately (specifically, Kat Von D’s True Romance palettes!) but the ones I want are currently unavailable. :( I’ll take this as a sign from the universe to make the most out of my current shadow stash before adding new colors to my collection! This week’s eye look features eyeshadow from my All Doll’d Up Palette, which I don’t use very often. I really should though – the shadows are just as pigmented, easy to blend, and long-lasting as Urban Decay’s. The colors I used reminded me of the eye makeup Barbie dolls normally come in; I think these might have been part of the Barbie Loves Stila collection.

Another makeup item I don’t use enough – colorful eyeliner! I bought a whole bunch of Nichido pencils a couple of months ago and never really got around to using them til lately. They’re cheap (P80!) and incredibly pigmented, but the staying power isn’t that great. Doing this look made me wonder if I should invest in Urban Decay’s 24/7 liner collection. I realized that when placed on the lower lash line, eyeliner provides stronger color payoff than eyeshadow.
That’s really pretty and pigmented eyeshadow there! I’d never have the guts to wear blue eyeshadow though, at least in public. Some people seem to pull it off so naturally though, like you! I am envious. Haha.
Btw, your hair looks gorgeous! Are those waves/curls natural or do you style them? :)
Thanks! :) I don’t wear super-bright makeup during the day, only when I have somewhere to go to at night. As for my hair, I got a digiperm last November! It’s loosening into waves now. :)
