My boyfriend’s lashes are prettier than mine :(

I never stop working, not even on weekends, but I took a quick break Sunday evening to celebrate my one year anniversary with the boyfriend. I know all girls say this about their current relationship, but I’ve dated enough guys to be able to say this with certainty: no other guy has ever made me feel so happy about who I am the way Marco has, and I have never been this happy with anyone else before. <3 Want to know what else I love about him? Marco's very romantic, but not in the way that makes me roll my eyes and gag in secret. For those who are curious, this is how he asked me to be his girlfriend.

Because anniversaries count as a special occasion, I found time to get all dolled up!

I haven’t taken a flash photo of me in my Clinique foundation, and I was horrified to see that it creates an awful white cast on my face. :( I wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that I used a foundation brush to put it on. Thank God for my Ellana mineral foundation, which melts perfectly into my skin – I’d be Miss Horrible Foundation Face without it.

Eyes:

I never thought I’d get to use Underland because I found it too chalky when I first swatched it. But despite the texture, it’s just as pigmented and long-lasting as any Urban Decay shadow.

Lips:
Nyx lipstick in Doll (it’s actually not as pink IRL)

The Chanel bag is not mine – it’s actually my mom’s. And it’s not real, it’s a fakie I got at Greenhills as a Christmas present. I can’t afford to get her a real Chanel bag so until then, very expensive fakes will have to do.

What I love about my Tsumori Chisato dress is the small boob window created by the crocheted neckline. The boyfriend approves.

And because the restaurant we ate at was too dark for decent photos, here’s a picture of us being smarmy in my bedroom!
