Best Multiply Shops

Today, anyone can open Multiply shops for free, which can be both a blessing and a curse. I’m happy that Multiply offers local designers and entrepreneurs a convenient platform to sell their products online. It’s no easy task to build a site from scratch, especially when you aren’t tech-savvy, and Multiply allows you to open your own store instantly and easily. But if you browse through the Multiply Marketplace, you’ll discover that for every shop that offers an amazing selection of awesome products, there are ten shops that are…not so good. And it takes so much time to wade through Multiply’s 98,000 stores and find sellers whose products you enjoy and who you can trust.

So to save time for myself and everyone else, I decided to curate a list of the best Multiply shops in the Philippines. Some of these shops are personal favorites that I keep going back to again and again, while others are shops I’ve heard great things about but haven’t done business with yet. I chose the stores on this list based on the following criteria:

* Fresh, carefully chosen products. I like Multiply merchants who curate their merchandise carefully and present nothing but the most stylish, up-to-date products. And since viewing the same old things gets boring, they should also offer new products on a regular basis. You will not find shops that sell replica designer bags or fake designer anything in this list; for these items, you’re probably better off shopping at Greenhills.

* Nice user interface. I don’t know about you, but I don’t bother browsing through a Multiply store if their site isn’t user-friendly or just plain ugly. Luckily, all my favorite sellers took effort to make their storefront look nice!

* Well-maintained. What good is a gorgeous store with a lovely selection if the owner is too busy to update their inventory or communicate with customers? All the stores I selected are serious businesses/designers who are committed to providing the best products and making their customers happy, not just bored people who think it might be fun to start an online store.

Take note that many of the merchants in this list do NOT use the new ecommerce system and are NOT covered by Multiply’s buyer protection program. While that shouldn’t discourage you from doing business with them, I’d still be careful about which store to transact with. I’ve received great service from Multiply merchants who still do it old school, but my Ichigo Shoes experience taught me that not all Multiply sellers care about making their customers happy, even if they are legitimate businesses. I’m so glad that Multiply has decided to become a serious ecommerce platform, and I hope that this move will make online shopping a more enjoyable, hassle-free experience for everyone.

On to the list! Stores that use the ecommerce system are marked with T.

This list is always a work in progress, and I’ll keep adding more shops as time goes by. Do recommend other Multiply shops that you think should belong in this list! Likewise, let me know if there are any Multiply shops that shouldn’t be here because of bad customer service, false advertising, or similar reasons.

Feel free to Tweet, share, and blog about this list too!

Thank you for including STYLO + MYLO here :) But you might want to update our store category as we’re now focusing on shoes for both men/ladies. Also, we’ve subscribed to the Trusted Seller status and the Buyer Protection feature.

Nice list! This’ll keep me busy with Christmas shopping! :))

Btw, I recommend this store for Gift Items – Curls & Twirls (http://curslandtwirls.multiply.com). It’s a trusted seller (T) and one of the Top 50 sellers (out of a 150,000 online shops nationwide) recognized by Multiply.PH itself. I’ve been a loyal customer since last year, and I must say, the proprietress never fails to impress me with their items, cute packaging and customer service. This is hands down one of the very best online shops out there. It’s also a certified Power Seller in eBay.

Anyway, thank you for the wonderful list! I’ll share your link to my friends. :D
