I’ve been feeling rather depressed and antisocial as of late, but I thought I’d pop by real quick with photos of my latest shoe acquisition. I got these red Nine West pumps from eBay and to be perfectly honest, I doubt that they’re the real thing. The silver insole looks rather cheap and the shoes are made of stiff synthetic material. But I don’t really care because I didn’t pay a lot of money for them. While P1,500 is no small sum, I think real Nine West pumps cost twice that amount. So if mine are indeed fake, I wasn’t entirely scammed.
Besides, who cares about what brand my pumps are when they come in a shade of red this sexy? They’re not the comfiest pumps in the world but the tapered heel is thick and stable enough for short walks. Plus, it’s so easy for me to build outfits around red shoes; I’ll probably be wearing these until the soles fall off.
What I wore to a small chocolate-tasting event at Culliere last week. Aside from a deeper appreciation for European chocolate, that evening taught me to keep extremely low necklines in place by taping them to my breasts with double-sided tape, the kind you buy at National Bookstore. I kept being paranoid about accidentally revealing my nipples all night, and who knows if my nipples really did take a peek at the outside world while I wasn’t paying attention? So trust me on the double-sided tape. You really don’t want that kind of self-consciousness when dining with strangers.

After reading your blog, I promptly looked in my very messy shoe closet to compare my insoles with yours. I own five pairs of Nine West shoes, and one of them actually had silver insoles. However, the stitching isn’t visible on mine, and the silver material on your pair looks shinier. Still, yours looks nice enough without having to
worry about the legitimacy of the brand. Kudos on the great find!

The piece with the pink dots are cute :) Also, i didnt know I can use double sided tape in lieu of hollywood tape. That’s a cheaper alternative :p
Yes, you can! I’ve never tried Hollywood tape, but I did use normal double-sided tape on a low-cut top and it stayed put all evening. It got a little itchy towards the end of the night though, but maybe that’s just my sensitive skin.

maidenform also has double-sided tape. cheaper by almost half compared to hollywood tape but still nth times more expensive than your usual double-sided tape at national bookstore. though hollywood tape is still the most effective as well as best for skin, as far as i’ve experienced.
